The Independent Film Channel has secured the right to show re-runs of Arrested Development. Starting October 25th, the show will run twice every Sunday and Tuesday night. Hooray! I suppose this would be a bigger deal for me if I had the Independent Film Channel and if I didn’t already own all the seasons, but still. Things be happening! This also probably explains why the last two seasons have recently been taken down from Hulu. October 15, 2009
Gabe Liedman, who has many great videos online with his sometimes comedy-partner and now full-time cast member of SNL, Jenny Slate, wrote “a treatise” on the show Glee for Videogum today. It seems as if both Gabe and myself are in similar boats (just a couple of sailors, we are)* when it comes to this show, as we have both refrained from watching it until last night, probably more-or-less for how it was marketed. Personally I am still a bit on the fence, but at the very least Jane Lynch is great in pretty much every scene, so the show has something worth watching.
