As we have said before, we are very aware this is starting to look a lot like VampireOctopus.com. We’ll lay we promise! Anyways, Contra is out next week, but here’s a full stream for you while your waiting and here’s our review of the album. Although I must admit, the album has grown on me considerably since that was written. October 28, 2009
So, as I am sure you have heard, Julian Casablancas (the lead singer of The Strokes) is releasing a solo album on Novermber 3rd. But in case you are skeptical that the album is worth purchasing, (I know I am! The Strokes and Strokes related material hasn’t been all that great for years) you can listen to the whole album free of charge on his Myspace.
