Swedish pop chanteuse Robyn continues her quest to do the impossible: release 3 amazing albums in just 12 months. The first, Body Talk Pt. 1, was released in June to rave reviews and we now have both a release date and album art for the second (the appropriately titled Body Talk Pt. 2). Set to be out stateside on September 7 (via Cherrytree), the 8-track mini-album will feature collaborations with Diplo, Kleerup, and even Snoop Dogg. This is definitely my favorite song off the duo’s slightly underwhelming sophomore album Volume 2, and the video is appropriately retro and melancholy. Is it just me, or is this an homage to German expressionism a la The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari? (It’s just me.)

James Mercer and Danger Mouse unveiled their video for single “Ghost Inside”, which features Mad Men star and Hottest Woman On The Planet Christina Hendricks as an android in the near future, today. It’s pretty much as good as you would have thought. Hendricks is great, and the subversion of her status as a current sex symbol (she gradually has to sell off body parts as the video goes on) is also great. So much great in this!
The new music video for William & Mary alum Thao Nguyen’s latest single “Body” has hit the web, and it comes with a nice introduction for her sponsor charity Oxfam America. The clip’s director, “Glee” star Dianna Agron, also joins Thao to discuss Oxfam’s inspirational and important work. Watch it here, then go donate to the cause:
