Christmas is is over four fortnights away!” Well don’t tell Bob Dylan! He has decided that it’s high time Christmas came before Halloween, hence his newly released holiday album Christmas in the Heart.
You are now thinking to yourself, “What is this nonsense? Bob Dylan does not make Christmas music! Leave that to David Archuleta!” Yesterday I would have agreed with you; but yesterday was not today, and today I first heard Dylan tackle “Here Comes Santa Claus” and henceforth I have been a changed soul. To hear his smoke-filled larynx struggle to belt out “here comes Santa Claus! Here Comes Santa Claus! Right down Santa Claus lane!” is nothing short of heavenly. Now if only T-Pain would release a holiday album…
