Closing Tentacles

• This seems like Of Montreal’s last record where they will be considered “indie approved”, assuming this has not already happened. I know their is “high hopes” for this new record, because of their history and “legend status” but I believe it is time for us to move on. As long as they are not going to take their music to higher places, why should we stick around on their plateau?
• Will there ever be another “creative” song literally about a sexual organ? Has it been played out far past its limits already? Yes.
• Is it laughable to refer to Kevin Barnes as one of the “kings of the indies” at this point in time? No. In a year? Maybe.
• Will Kevin Barnes always have a special place in our hearts no matter what he does? Definitely.
