According to Pitchfork and the alway-reliable Twitter, MIA and Sleigh Bells have teamed up for her upcoming third album. Thoughts? (via)
The latest track from the highly anticipated Imelda Marcos concept album (titled Here Lies Love) courtesy of David Byrne and Fatboy Slim has found it’s way online. This one features Florence Welch (the driving force behind Florence + The Machine), which means that it is obviously mind-blowingly awesome. (via)
The Specials are reuniting for a tour of the UK and the States! Rejoice! (via)
Thanks to good ‘ol Pat Robertson, the world now knows why the Caribbean country Haiti has so long suffered from rampant poverty and crime… “True story”.
In other news (that has nothing whatsoever to do with the Devil… well, maybe) Heidi Montag’s debut album was finally released! And there was much rejoicing! She then promptly compared it’s quality to that of Thriller.
If you’re Facebook status today says “mascochistic”, feel free to read the interview here.
This fan-video is a shot-by-shot remake of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” music video, and I know we’ve been trying to refrain from becoming LadyGagaOctopus.com but this was just too awesome to ignore… Plus, the Gaga herself approves.
So it looks like Solange Knowles, she who introduced Jay-Z and big sis Beyonce to Grizzly Bear and covered Dirty Projectors’ “Stillness Is the Move” earlier this year, will be appearing on Of Montreal’s next album (along with the epically brilliant Janelle Monae). Â Huzzah I say! Sounds like a great collabo (as we say in “the Biz”… I think… I wouldn’t know…)
Also Kevin Barnes is apparently writing songs for Beyonce, who cites the band as possible inspiration for her next album.
Worlds are colliding my friends.
Pitchfork has all the deats (as we say in “the Biz”… I think… I wouldn’t know…) Â here.

(We’ll honor suicide ourselves later, don’t worry). Make sure to listen to our show tomorrow at 10 am. It will be worth your time monetarily!
I present to you some truly spectacular pieces of artwork courtesy of Seek & Speak. The site, run by the mysterious “Brandon”, includes a number of redone posters for various new and old films such as Harry Potter, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Blair Witch Project, and The Dark Knight.
Now if only Hollywood would take note of these, and stop making their usual awful, awful posters.
